    Crescent Processing Company Scam Myths
The purpose of this article is to discuss and dispel some of the myths which are being perpetuated in connection with the Crescent Processing Company. The thrust of these myths is that we are somehow running a scam with our fees and also that we are scamming our sales people.

Scam Myth 1: Crescent Processing Company has Hidden Fees and Reneges on its Promises

Crescent Processing Company is an electronic payment processing company which has built its business by providing world class service with 100% integrity. We offer free equipment to our clients. We state this openly and stick to the policy. Our view is that if we can support our customers with this investment it will give them an edge against their bigger rivals and in turn grow our own business. Should a customer cancel his contract with us we will of course ask for the equipment to be returned or, if he opts to keep it we will bill him for it. This is reasonable and fair.

Our rates are all displayed and explained to any prospective customer before he signs anything. He is also asked to verify that he accepts these rates by an independent confirmation centre. No deal can be concluded before this process is complete. Any written material which accuses us of a rates scam is simply not based on facts. Every merchant who signs with us is given a copy of our terms and conditions which contains a detailed breakdown of all our charges.

Everything we promise to anyone doing business with us is delivered exactly as promised.

Scam Myth 2: Crescent Processing Company Gives bad leads or Appointments.

Crescent Processing Company arranges to provide “warm” leads which are twice confirmed. Each lead has agreed in advance to watch a 5 minute presentation on our free equipment. The sales person merely needs to show up, do the presentation and conclude a deal if the merchant is willing. Much depends on the sales person’s skill and these leads can in no way be considered “bad”. In addition to this reps are expected to generate additional sales by themselves (cold calling etc) Nothing in this system is unusual for our industry and nothing can be construed as a scam.

Scam Myth 3: Crescent Processing Company does not pay its ISA’s on their sales.

This is another falsehood. When we recruit a new sales person, the terms of the service agreement are clearly spelled out. The way commission works is that it gets paid within 3 working days from the time the new account is activated (not when the agreement is signed). This is fair and reasonable. Each new recruit confirms upon receipt of his laptop, that he understands these terms. We record this conversation for the benefit of ourselves and the recruit should he need clarification down the line. Once again we do exactly what we say we are going to do and can in no way be accused of running a scam.

We hope that the above points provide some clarity about these matters and help to dispel some of the unfair criticism of our business which has been perpetuated online.
